This Blue Sea Glass Octopus features a perfectly frosted cobalt blue sea glass gem handpicked by me along the beautiful Amalfi Coast of Italy.  It is handcrafted in fine silver (999) and measures approximately 1.5 inches wide by 2 inches long.  It hangs from an adjustable 16, 18, 20-inch sterling chain.  Blue sea glass, particularly such as this cobalt blue was often used for medicinal purposes  and also luxury items and was produced as early as the 1600's.
